This article is very helpful and interesting.I’ve always been doing the exact opposite of what this post is saying. Putting my keywords all over the place. Thanks for sharing!

Oh that's a nice article with solid info. Now i got a doubt, you are right when u said don't target Golden keywords in the article posted to directories. But then in article marketing we do target some good keywords for which we see a lot of people are searching for. So that they come to these directories and click the resource to your site, yes not everyone clicks and follows. But if we aren't targeting any keywords how would google rank them and how do people find your site.

hope u can explain better..

Great article... I thought I was the only one who referred to them as golden keywords. Guess it's pretty easy to think of since keywords like those really are worth gold!

Sometimes, when we think that we are already on the verge of our success, we did not realize that we are slowly ruining our fortune with the not so obvious things that could bar down our online business. we should take a good look of smaller details as well on our strategy and even on what we already have.

Hi Henry
Believe it or not you have just squared a circle for me. This is something I had sort of realised but never fully grasped or appreciated. I have fallen exactly into this trap and ended up with my article ranking higher than my page for my 'golden keyword'. Of course you should still use a 'good' keyword in your article, but not one that will compete with your own site Thanks for making me realise the error of my ways and that it's all in the anchor text
